On the morning of August 18th, the first-semester staff meeting of the 2020-2021 school year of the Changwai Bilingual School was held in the school theater. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Annie, the vice principal of the school.

First, Principal Cao Hui announced the resolution of the board to appoint Ms. Nancy as the executive principal of CBS. Then, Principal Cao reviewed the school's past achievements, in terms of prevention and control of Coronary Virus, project authorization, progress in higher education, and home-school collaboration. She emphasized that in terms of management, including teaching research, curriculum construction, process system construction, and center vertical management, it is necessary to accumulate experience and wisdom. In terms of teachers, teachers must be good at self-management , including: first, strengthen their role awareness and be worthy of this position; second, learn actively and strive to become professionals in this field; third, unite departments, family, schools, Chinese and foreign teachers in order to build a harmonious learning community  together.

Then, Ms. Nancy introduced all members of the management team. The school has recruited a group of new Chinese and foreign teachers this semester. They have injected fresh blood into the school. The new teachers introduced themselves to everyone.

After that, Ms. Nancy gave a report on the "2020-2021 School Year Work Plan". She explained the work of the new school year from six aspects: school management, curriculum construction, moral education, teacher development, logistics support, and market enrollment.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Nancy combined the "Technical Plan for Prevention and Control of Coronary Virus in the Fall and Winter of Primary and Secondary Schools" issued by the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Education. The feedback was "Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Prevention and Control of Coronary Virus in the New School Year" by the Changzhou Education Bureau. The Changzhou Education Bureau also said to continue arrange the prevention and control work in the new school year.

In the new school year, all staff of the school will continue to focus on the school's development goals and central tasks, work harder in their respective positions, forge ahead, innovate constantly, and strive to plan a new leap in school development and promote the high-quality development of the school.
