Research activities aim to guide students through real-world learning, through deep integration with the natural and social environment, guide students to take the initiative to connect book knowledge with the real life, and deepen their understanding. At the same time, these activities enhance students' sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability, and cultivate students' observation ability, thinking ability and problem-solving ability. We encourage students to go out of the classroom, think in observation, learn in cooperation, feel in experience, and grow in practice.
Foundation Forest School
Foundation Forest school is designed to be child-centred and allow children to learn in a woodland or forest environment, with an emphasis on play, exploration and adventure. Self-discovery and problem solving are important features of the forest school. Foundation children are at an age when these children are curious about the world and want to explore. As a result, children have the opportunity to get close to nature every month, observe various plants and animals, and learn about the growth of animals and plants and the ecological environment. At the same time, children will also participate in some simple outdoor games and handmade activities in a relaxed and happy atmosphere to feel the charm of nature.
PYP Field Trip and Outdoor Exploration
PYP regularly organizes students to participate in field trips and outdoor exploration, aiming at allowing students to leave the familiar classroom and campus environment for a short time, experiencing and learning new knowledge and skills. PYP outings are more diverse. First of all, students will participate in a series of inquiry activities, such as visiting science museums and history museums to learn about science, history, and culture through personal experience and observation. In addition, the Young Pioneers will also participate in social practice activities, such as voluntary service, environmental protection activities, etc., in which students learn social responsibility and environmental awareness.
MYP IDU
MYP students show excellent independent thinking and problem-solving ability. Therefore, students have more opportunities to participate in more diversified social practice and research activities.  Students will spontaneously form teams to actively participate in various activities such as community service and enterprise internship, go deep into the social grassroots, personally experience the mystery of the social order, and further improve their own ability. In the research activities, MYP students also have the opportunity to visit museums, research institutions and other cultural holy places and personally feel the integration of diverse cultures and the influence of academic atmosphere, so as to broaden their international horizons and knowledge.
