Excellent Results Achieved in SPBCN

The 2019 SPBCN（Spelling Bee of China), China Regional Competition has come to an end. The Academic Center of CBS organized over 30 students from PYP and MYP to participate in the competition. After more then two months of careful preparation, there were two students from each department who managed to stand out from the strict selection and ended up entering the national final competition successfully. They are Shi Nuoyi, Steven from G8, Li Yiling, Elaine from G7, Peng Zixi, Tony from G3 and Zhang Yining, Chole from G2. Congratulations to them! And we also hope they can get outstanding results in the final competition held in Beijing this April. 

SPBCN is the largest-scaled and most influential English competition aiming at introducing the American-originated spelling competition to China, organizing and selecting outstanding and top contestants to take part in the national competition and International challenge. The competition is created in order to provide an International English training and competition Platform for Chinese teenagers to develop a good International level for overseas study and communication.

This past January, the CBS Academic Center organized 7 students from PYP and MYP each to participate in the semifinal of SPBCN Group Competition in Shanghai. They have shown the outstanding performance of the CBS students in the competition and achieved good results!
