Recently, Ameya, a student of CBS MYP from India, has achieved excellent scores in the HSK Level 3 Chinese test! He scored full marks in all three components of listening, reading, and writing! This is far above the global average score!

HSK is a six levelled international standardized test of Chinese proficiency. It focuses on the ability for non-native Chinese speakers to use Chinese for communication in daily life, study, and work. With high HSK scores, international students can apply for scholarships for higher education in China. This test is widely recognized by Chinese learners all over the world.

Ameya came to China more than two years ago. He started his Chinese learning journey at CBS. Although he has no Chinese background at all, he has made great achievements in Chinese. Ameya pays attention and participates actively in class, and he also communicates in Mandarin after class in the diverse environment of CBS. During the epidemic, Ameya joined the online courses for international students provided by CBS while he was in India. As a result, his study was not interrupted.

Ameya has always been striving for perfection in his studies and working hard to become better. The results he obtained this time is the best return and proof for his hard work. I believe that in the future, he will become a true messenger of different cultures!

Ameya possess the key qualities of being joyful, brave, and principled. He is focused and rigorous while learning. He has clear goals which motivates him to try hard and do well. In group cooperation tasks, he is active and listens to the opinions of others. Ameya also actively participates in various extracurricular activities in the school, including the Christmas show, sports day, and various other activities. As the head of the Sports Department of the Student Council, he also completes his duties with responsibility.
