Despite the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, teachers and students of CBS stayed calm in the face of it. With the guidance of school leaders, teachers took scientific and effective actions which showed their positive attitude and professionalism.

Principal Li and IB coordinator Han Yuefang organized all MYP subject leaders to reflect on this week's online teaching on Friday. Subject leaders shared their opinions on class preparation, teaching content and style, class management, homework check, time management, teacher-student interaction etc.

Teachers designed various activities to encourage students to participate actively in class and they also assigned creative and interesting homework after class. For example, making posters, think-pair-share, Padlet, jigsaw etc. Humanity teacher and Geography teacher even planed IDU to carry out the "Art Exhibition of Landscape". Teachers put forward the idea of interdisciplinary reading to enrich students’ lives at home. In addition to study, our school also cares about students’ physical and mental health. PE teacher recorded videos for students to exercise at home, and mental health teacher also taught students how to relieve pressure and anxiety.

Finally, Principal Li conveyed the expectations and requirements from Educational Bureau, and she also spoke highly of our teachers’ responsibility, professionalism, and enthusiasm. She hoped teachers continue to cooperate and keep going in the following days.
