On the morning of March 27th, Mr. Jiang Feng, member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Municipal Committee, Secretary of Party Working Committee of Changzhou High-tech Zone, Secretary of Xinbei District Committee, led a team to visit Changwai Bilingual School to inspect and guide the epidemic prevention and control. Vice Chairman of Changzhou CPPCC, Director of the Changzhou Education Bureau Ms. Wan Limei, Xinbei District leaders Mr. Wang Yuwei, Ms. Chen Jiansheng, Ms. Xu Hong, as well as the Xinbei District Bureau of Education, Health Care and Longhu Tang Street leaders accompanied the inspection.

Secretary Jiang and his team visited the campus environment of our school, and came to the Secondary School building where the high school is located, to learn more about the current epidemic prevention and control of the school, preparation for staff and students back to school and so on. He pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen the management of personnel in and out of the school, and strictly implement the requirements of temperature measurement, code checking, and nucleic acid testing negative certification within 48 hours, so as to truly guard the "school gate". After the teachers and students returned to school, the prevention and control of the epidemic in the campus should not be relaxed. Strict epidemic prevention measures should be taken. Earnestly implement the requirements of wearing masks, ventilation and disinfection, dining and dormitory management, do a good job in health monitoring management, adhere to the "morning and afternoon inspection," "daily report" system. He stressed the need to carefully organize, strict control, to students, parents and the community is highly responsible attitude to do a good job, to ensure campus safety, and teaching and learning orderly.

Secretary Jiang also asked about the current situation of the school. Mr. Nancy Lee, the Executive Principal of CBS, explained in detail. She highlighted the excellent performance and achievements of the class of 2022. Secretary Jiang affirmed the work of our school and encouraged us to make scientific planning and rational layout, innovate the mode of running school, improve the teaching quality, and strive to build CBS into an influential international school in the region. To better provide quality international education services for the children of foreigners in Changzhou, it can also better enrich and meet the needs of the citizens of Changzhou for quality international education.
