The past few months have been a challenging time for the teachers and families of CBS. We all faced the challenge of adapting to the online teaching and learning so that our students could continue growing and developing. With the help and guidance of the school management team, teachers and all the parents and guardians who supported at home, we were able to continue educating our students.
As we transition back into the classroom let us take the time to look at some of the amazing work the students from Grade 3 - 5 have produced over the past 2 months.
Grade 3A
In UOI the grade 3 students have been learning about how people’s lifestyles affects their health. They have completed various research tasks on how to keep their bodies healthy.
Grade 4A
In the previous unit, the Grade 4A students inquired about "economy" and integrated with COVID-19. They developed their research skills and self-management skills. They used different ways to show their understanding about "economy ".
Grade 5A
The Grade 5 students inquired about media and completed research projects about the Covid-19 news and the history of media.
The students also recorded a video to show their daily life during the online learning and through this they learnt how to make their own videos.
Drama Lessons
In Drama the Grade 3 students learnt about technology for their previous unit and they shared their ideas of experiencing life in the past, present and future by taking pictures.
The Grade 5 students made protest theatre videos and used technology to share their views on serious issues in society.
We want to say a big thank you to all of our teachers, parents and guardians who have supported the students during this time. Our students have done an amazing job with the online learning.
