The year 2020 is such an extraordinary year. We have witnessed the ups and downs of the epidemic. We have experienced many difficulties in epidemic prevention. The spring breeze is blowing, and the summer rain is coming. We join hands on this road to the future. Flowers bloom like a dream to build the future, the graduation song pays tribute to the youth. On June 13th the class of 2020 CBS High School graduation ceremony was held in the school auditorium.

Executive principal of CBS-Ms. Judy Wan, Vice principal of CFS, Vice principal of CBS-Ms. Nancy LEE, Vice principal of CBS-Ms. Annie Chen and other leaders and special guests attended the ceremony. The management team from each department of CBS, teacher representatives, parents of graduate students and graduates returning to school attended the on-site activities. The graduation ceremony was hosted by G11A students Rachel Zhang and David Zhang.

At 9am, the solemn national anthem kicked off the graduation ceremony. The graduate video recorded by the students had beautiful memories and the life transformation of the classmates in CBS.

The song "Those Years" brought by the G12 graduates once again filled everyone with laughter, tears, grind, and growth.

Student Representative Speech

Graduate Jack Lu spoke on behalf of all graduates to show their gratefulness to classmates, parents, teachers. His words are full of affection and straightforward. His speech is not only an expression of his own mental journey, but also a history of mental growth of high school students.

Coming of Age Ceremony

Six graduates gave a poem recital "An invitation to Spring", the students stood in a youthful posture, and read the poem.

Parent Representative Speech

Every step of a child’s growth cannot be done without parental care. In the face of children who are about to travel all over the world, Mr. Li Detao, the parent of Edison Lee in G12B class, has shared his thoughts as a parent representative. I hope that all graduates will be able be "grateful" and "humble" to maintain their "initial intention" in the coming days.

Principal's Speech

Ms. Nancy LEE, Vice Principal of Changzhou Foreign Languages School and Vice Principal of Changwai Bilingual School delivered a speech. Nancy's speech was thought-provoking, blessing students today's graduation and growth, and instructing students to refrain from arrogance and impatience to climb the peak.

Finally, the choir performed "Dandelion's Promise". The Class of 2020 high school graduation ceremony of CBS ended successfully.
