It has been rightly said that, "Motivation is what gets you started; Habit is what keeps you going." Students, when they are motivated, are more excited to learn and participate. One way to motivate students is to recognize and reward for their active learning and participation.

With this belief, we decide to award CBS Star of the Month, which is the recognition given to students for their exemplary performance in the following criteria:

• Discipline

• Participation (school & curricular activities)

• Empathy (being helpful)

• Leadership (responsible, creative & initiative)

• Social Skills (friendly nature & manners)

The students who won the Stars of the Month were invited to attend the Principal's Lunch today as recognition and encouragement.

Each department chose 2 students as the Stars of the Month, and they are:

中学部 MYP: G6 - Ameya Sandbhor（左）; G9 - 陈智涵 Harry（右）

高中部 HS: G11B - 郑苏芸 Susanna（左）; G12 - 高憬涛 Carl（右）

We hope that our award-winning students can take excellence as a habit, continue to be diligent and self-disciplined, and make each day count; we hope that other students can follow the examples, sail with wisdom, paddle with hard work and break through the wind and waves.
