As the 2019 summer holiday has come to a close, a brand new academic year has begun. All the CBS teachers and students gathered in the school theater to attend the opening ceremony which started with the Chinese national anthem.

The opening ceremony hosts Kimi Ding from student development centre and Sarah from MYP shared a video of the 2019 Summer School programme which included some exciting memories and achievements in the past few months. By reviewing the memories of this summer , we sincerely hope that everyone can have more incredible opportunities and be better prepared for challenges in life while taking the initiative to adapt and keeping moving forward.

Welcome New Teaching Staff

As this new school year comes to a start, some new staff have joined the CBS family. They were warmly welcomed to the stage by all CBS students and teachers and introduced themselves to everybody.

Speech by Sean CHEN, Graduate of 2017

We are very honored to invite Sean Chen to give a speech to us. He graduated in 2017 and is currently studying Engineering at the University of Cambridge. Sean sincerely hopes that all CBS students would treasure and make good use of the knowledge and abilities they have acquired, in order to become better global citizens in the future. Set your aspirations high, and your pursuit for truths and innovations shall take you there.

Annual Outstanding Students Award Ceremony

In the past year, these students have gained a lot in both academic achievements and extracurricular activities, and have been recognized by teachers. Here comes the most exciting part of the ceremony: CBS Outstanding Students Award Ceremony for 2018 to 2019 School Year. CBS HS Principal Mark Yu and PYP Principal Margaret came to the stage to reward those outstanding students.
