Last Saturday, Changwai Bilngual School celebrated International Children's Day with a Summer Fair. Although the day started out cloudy, it still couldn't stop the hundreds of families from coming. Luckily the sun came out in the afternoon with a cool breeze. All who came had a great experience.

We had a wide array of Western desserts, BBQ, fruit juice, coffee, fresh yogurt and so on. We also had a wide variety of Western and Asian cuisine. Apart from food, there were many games at the summer fair. All the sports games were quite popular. The water park was full of fun as well! The crazy bubble machine and the surfing area made the children quite happy.

Face painting and nail paintings were a hit at the fair! Teachers from CBS, made some amazing artwork on the faces of the children. Some even had the courage to paint their nails. Also the children in the "horse racing area" had all become little knights, riding white horses and going through different passes.

The most brilliant performance in this Summer Fair is the amazing performance from the CBS Band. The opening song "Hotel California" immediately brought the whole campus to the climax of the Summer Fair! With the wonderful solo and chorus of students and teachers, the Summer Fair had become a summer music festival.

Along with the up and down of the music, the raffle ticket time also brought lots of surprises! Four rounds of raffle ticket were awarded, including Kindle Paper white 4, Casio Electronic Dictionary, Huawei Laptop and Special Prize -- Tuition Deduction 10,000 RMB. 

Finally, the fair came to an end with the song "Hey Jude" which was sung by all the people on the stage and spectators in the crowd. With the full participation of hundreds of families, happiness filled the air.

Indeed, the children are a unique spirit, and Changwai Bilingual School is the place to provide children with such a diverse environment, so that students are able to grow up with a broader vision and blossom brilliantly in the future!!
