This Friday, CBS held its first Mini Olympics athletics competition. In order to create a fun sports environment for students, knowing the importance of getting involved and supporting each other in a team, CBS organised the athletics competition. CBS had been expecting the event for a long time and it finally took place on this lovely sunny Friday morning. The competitors were made up of students from CBS, Changzhou Longcheng Primary School and Wuxi Nanwai King's College School. It was wonderful that they could join us! 

Every school made adequate preparations for the sports meeting. They wore their school uniforms with pride and their steady eyes were full of confidence and youthful spirit.

Here are the G1 and G2 athletes. Although they are smaller than the seniors, they are as explosive and energetic as the seniors. Although they are young, their sportsmanship and health awareness are not small.

In the following events, the students participated in various events such as: an obstacle course, shot put, javelin, long jump, sprinting and relay. The students had the opportunity to show their skills and talents in the different events. Our CBS athletes fought bravely and achieved some impressive results. 

The sport's meeting was successfully completed by 11:30 and the awards ceremony was held. Longcheng Primary did an excellent job and came in first place. Nanwai King's College came second and CBS where only a handful of points behind King's College and got third place. The students all gave their best and they had a wonderful time. This activity not only shows the heart of CBS students, but also enhances the sense of competition and fitness consciousness of the students. Let's look forward to the next mini Olympics!
