A seminar on integrated reading and teaching system inside and outside class in primary and secondary schools of Changzhou successfully carried out in CBS last Friday. The seminar invited the professor from Beijing Normal University Mr. Cheng Xiaotang, who is also the chief editor of "Foreign Language Teaching in Elementary and Secondary Schools" and the Provincial Teaching and Research Officer and special-grade teacher Ms. Wei Hui. Ms. Liu Yun, the Changzhou Teaching and Research Officer of English, also attended the seminar.

The experts gave favourable comments on the CBS teaching and learning system and provided professional guidance for teaching and research projects. 

After the seminar, our Principal Ms. Nancy Li showed the experts around the campus. They were impressed by the implementation of inquiry units in the IB curriculum and spoke highly of students' creative display. Experts also encouraged CBS students to learn English well and broaden our horizons.
