On September 26,2020, the 16th English Proficiency Show (district level) was held in Xinbei Experimental Middle School. The purpose of this competition is to create an English-learning atmosphere for students so as to stimulate their enthusiasm. Each school should select 2-3 outstanding students to participate.

A total of nearly 50 students in the region participated in the competition. Two among them are Steven Xu and Kitty Huang from our school.

The competition consists of two rounds: "speech" and "talent show”. Steven Xu shared his one-year life in England during the lockdown. He fell in love with 3D sketching and gained success in this field. Everyone was deeply impressed by his professional 3D sketching and fluent explanation. For his exceptional performance, it was without a doubt that he would win!

Kitty Huang’s speech on Greek mythology --"Pandora Box" and her beautiful English song moved the entire audience and won the third place.
